Mum; I Love You

I adore my mum; she is kind, caring and has always had a big heart, but she is more than just my mum, she is also my best friend and I can talk to her about everything. I’ve grown up knowing that my mum is my teacher, my cook, my nurse, my protector, my supporter, my adviser, my motivator and honestly the list could go on. A mum isn’t just the woman that gave birth to you or the person you share your blood with, she is all the above and more.
Growing up we didn’t always have the smoothest of relationships, but I mean let’s be honest, no mother daughter relationship is smooth sailing. Me and my mum are very alike and we sometimes clash because of this. However, we are also very different too, but wether its a good day or a bad day, I know we always have each others backs.

I think one of my favourite things about my mum’s personality is her comical and clumsy side. She can be quite a comedian and half the time she doesn’t even realise the funny, random things she says, and when I say clumsy, I mean clumsy she falls over more times than I would care to share. But let me just to be clear, we are the type of family that jokes about and takes the mick out of each other, so no hate guys ‘haha’. And mum I’m sorry to say this but sometimes you make it too easy to take the mick out of you.
Ive seen my mum be a great mum, a great wife, a great nan, a great friend and to some even a great stranger. I appreciate who she is as a person and am so glad to have my mum as my role model. she is a fighter, a tough cookie and for anyone that truly knows my mum will agree.
Mum Thank you …
Thank you for alway being my guidance. Thank you for always being the shoulder I could cry on. Thank you for loving me unconditionally and always making me laugh. Thank you for everything you do for me. I will forever be grateful for the life you and dad have blessed me with and for always being there by my side, no matter what.
Happy Mother’s day mum and I love you lots!
