October is one of my favourite times of the year. The cosy evenings, the autumn colours, the pumpkin-themed everything — it’s the perfect excuse to curl up on the sofa with a good film or series. Now, as I have already admitted in the past I’m not really into the whole screaming, jumping-out-of-your-seat, scare-yourself-on-purpose type of horror. That’s just not my thing. But I do love a slightly spooky, magical, autumnal vibe.

So instead of terrifying horror films, my October watch list is full of cosy fantasy, magical worlds, and just the right amount of mystery. Here’s my 31 days of autumn / October must-watch list.

Week 1 – Enter the World of Wednesday
