Ms Marvel T.V Series

Marvel diversity just keeps growing
One of the main reasons I love Marvel is because of the amount of diversity every movie has and the diverse team of heroes that is Marvel, so you can imagine how excited I was to hear of another Marvel series coming out and was ready for the first Pakistan hero to be born, Thus I give you Ms Marvel!
I loved the educational aspect throughout the series talking about their lifestyle, beliefs, traditions and in particular the history of the partition, I don’t know much about Pakistani history and when the story of the Partition was spoken of, I wanted to know more. The Partition involved the dividing of two provinces, The partition of India in 1947 divided British India into two independent dominions, India and Pakistan. It was a difficult time full of pain, sadness and fear and was interesting to learn about, the series shined the spotlight on a very difficult time in Pakistan's history.
“And let’s be honest it’s not the brown girls from Jersey City who saves the world” Well think again because the brown girl from jersey known as Kamala of baby sloth products which FYI I love the name finds out there is more to her then she realises when she becomes Ms Marvel and saves the world! Kamala played by Iman Vellani had some big shoes to fill being the first Pakistani character in marvel and honestly, I think she did so well. What stood out for me was that I liked how much of her character and life was expressed in her bedroom, Her tomboyish vibes and her very obvious love for captain marvel. Also, marvel never fails to have a comical touch to every character and Kamala effortlessly continued that tradition with her marvel character.
Boy and girl friendship with a secret crush on each other is a classic storyline but come on how cute would Kamala and Bruno be together? I like Bruno's character he is an inventor, likes to make and build things, is intelligent, very sweet and is always there for Kamala. I also love how Bruno learns about their traditions and the funny and sweet relationship between him and her dad. Kamala’s dad is an entertaining character and a kind-hearted man and I love when he said to Kamala's brother “To live a life in fear or love” That was relatable to me the fear to live or love is a real thing and I know I have had that thought many times through my life and throughout the series you could see the strong family bond they all had. Ok, I have to talk about the legend Mr Wilson I love him! He is by far one of the funniest characters, honestly, I wish there was more of him in the series, he was brilliant from the moment he started quoting lyrics from Mulan, which by the way is my favourite Disney princess I was hooked on his character and the way he convinces Bruno that he should take his big opportunity a crack up.
Avenger con firstly is this a real thing because it needs to be! Now I have to address my favourite part of avenger con; I wanted to cry at the same time my heart was so full to see the “Thank you for your sacrifice” sign on a wall covered with thank you letters and their right in the middle was a picture of iron man and the Black widow that was such a beautiful tribute and the emotions hit real quick.
The only Negatives for me were that I was not a massive fan of how every marvel studios opening was a different soundtrack, I prefer the classic original opening but guess that's just cause I’m a fan of the classics, however, they attempted to combine the marvel with Pakistan music which I get why but I think some classic parts of marvel should stay classic. Although they didn’t fail to blast out some tunes including one of my all-time favourite classic old-school tunes Livin' on a prayer by Bon Jovi oh yes you better believe I was singing along.
We can't forget to talk about the woman herself Miss Nakia Bahadir played by Yasmeen Fletcher I liked her character and the attitude she had, the standards she set, the message she sends to so many with her can-do attitude and motivation to do better to improve. I liked her character a thought Yasmeen played her exceptionally, She is a force not to be reckoned with. I have to bring up the Nice on the eyes, smooth-talking New senior Kamran he is a very sweet character and I have to be honest I don’t know if I’m team Bruno or team Kamran cause they are both so nice and sweet and funny and our both 100% into Kamala, are you team Bruno or Kamran? Also, The Red dagger Is an interesting group of characters and I like them and hope to learn more about them and see more of their characters in the next season, I mean come on there has to be another season right?
