Avon Inn Pub Lunch Review

You can’t go wrong with a pub lunch, and while visiting Elliott’s family in Devon, we went out for a family meal at a lovely pub called The Avon Inn.
I indulged in a dish of ricotta cheese and spinach pasta, paired with a refreshing side salad and one of my favourite comfort foods garlic bread. The portion sizes were very generous and nicely presented. The pasta was delicious with a creamy texture, and the garlic bread was an excellent side choice, because let’s be honest, pasta and garlic bread are an elite Italian combo.
The dish also came with a side salad, which was nice and fresh. However, even though I do enjoy salad, I felt there was a bit too much of it. I would have preferred a larger portion of the pasta instead.
I was also very impressed with the prices, Many pubs are becoming increasingly expensive, but we had two mains, a glass of sweet rosé and lemonade, and a pint of Coke, all for a total of £37, which I thought was very reasonable.
The customer service was super friendly and helpful, and the pub itself was warm and inviting. Overall, it was a great experience, and I look forward to dining there again soon!
