Cabana - Westfield Stratford Restaurant Review

When the taste of Brazil hits London at the Cabana restaurant your taste buds won't be disappointed!

On a spontaneous dinner date we came across the Cabana restaurant located in Westfield; Stratford and What an atmosphere! With such a unique theme contrast between brazil and a romantic setting to dine, beautiful decor including my personal favourite a giant tree covered in fairy lights and lanterns in the middle of the restaurant it was beautiful and I think a great Instagramable background too. Alongside having kind staff, quick service, delicious food and tasty cocktails well, all I can say is by the time you finish reading this your gonna want a taste of Brazil too.

Ok, so let us kick it off with the very cheeky Dirty fries starter a tasty tough-tingling combination of fries, Mexican Street corn style, churrasco fries, and charred sweetcorn tossed in Sriracha mayo with crumbled feta and lime, Give me a moment I was drilling just typing this haha. Also, vital information you should know is that I’m a girl that loves a nice dab of salt and vinegar and a dollop of ketchup on her fries but after trying these bad boys let's just say my mouth and belly were feeling very cultured with the taste of Rio, Best £8 I spent that's for sure.

However when It comes to the main I was not as excited, unfortunately, it didn’t give me the Brazilian feels I had through my starter, it don't make my taste buds wanna dance. I had one of the very few vegetarian main options which were, unfortunately, a little disappointing too, I had the £14 Beyond X - Burger; Beyond meat plant-based burger with was made up with Violife cheddar, guava, barbecue This isn’t bacon, rocket, tomato, red onion, Rubles in the rubble mustard mayo, brioche bun topped with a blistered shishito pepper. Nevertheless, I will say it was tasty but as a foodie, I love to get excited about my dishes and with this main, the excitement just wasn’t quite there.

After washing it all down with a sweet, fruity cocktail called Beach Bag Batida a delicious concussion of Leblon & Capucana cachaca's, Luxardo aperitivo, Passion fruit and vanilla syrup, mango purée, lime, pineapple juice, and dulce de leche, which let me tell you now it so good it is dangerous I honestly could drink them all night long and all that in one glass for just £10.50 I was expecting the price to be a little bit more expensive but hey I’m not gonna complain about that.

Overall the food was well presented and tasty and the prices, in my opinion, were very affordable when entering the restaurant the atmosphere gave me expensive vibes but expensive looking, affordable restaurants serving sweet cocktails and tasty food that ticks all the boxes for me.

It was a night of romance, laughter and good vibes all round.
