Cyfie Farm Glamping 2026

Me and Elliott went on our first ever glamping trip back in March 2025, and honestly, we loved it. It was so relaxing, so fun, and just gave us that proper quality time together, which is always needed. There’s something really lovely about getting away from normal life for a few days and just reconnecting with each other all over again.

We enjoyed it so much that, of course, we had to book another one for 2026.

This time, we stayed at Cyfie Farm in Wales, and it was such a beautiful little countryside escape. We had hot tub evenings, toasted marshmallows by the campfire, took in the views, and made friends with basically every farm animal we could find.

One of my favourite parts of the whole trip was bottle-feeding the lambs. This wasn’t even planned, which made it even better. I mentioned to the owner that I have a smallholding with sheep, goats, and horses, and said if she needed any help feeding the animals, I’d be more than happy to help. She then told me she had four lambs coming to the farm that needed bottle feeding… well, you can imagine my excitement.

The farm itself had so many lovely animals, including sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, and three beautiful black cats who became our little besties for the stay. They were honestly so cute and spent practically the whole time with us. Elliott even named himself the cat whisperer, and to be fair, I think he earned the title.

Another thing I love about glamping is the self-catering side of it. Me and Elliott have always enjoyed cooking together, and dinner time is definitely one of our favourite parts of being away. We’re always chatting, laughing, and, of course, if cheese and onion are involved, there is absolutely some snacking happening. That is just a must.

Most of the days were spent chilling out, which was exactly what we wanted, but we did have a little explore around Powis Castle and Garden, which was beautiful. The gardens were gorgeous, with a cute orangery, a tree arch, and so many lovely little areas to walk around. The castle itself was full of history and had such incredible architecture.

The hospitality at Cyfie Farm was really friendly, and the location was just stunning. It was in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nature, fresh air, and peaceful views. It was the kind of place where you can just switch off and take it all in.

I found the stay on Booking.com, which is honestly such a good app for finding little getaways. Whether you’re looking for a countryside escape, a relaxing break, or something a bit different, it’s always worth a browse.

We also had one more little adventure on the route home and stopped by Lake Vyrnwy. Wow, what a view, it was gorgeous! And how crazy is this; underneath the lake is an entire village. I had no idea until I read the information board, and I was shocked. An entire abandoned village under the lake… crazy! But the views were beautiful, and the place was so tranquil.

Overall, our second glamping trip was everything we wanted it to be. Relaxing, wholesome, funny, and full of little memories. From the hot tub and campfire to bottle-feeding lambs and becoming best friends with the cats, it was just one of those trips that felt simple but special.
