Is comfort more important than style?

For me personally 100% yes. I am here for comfort morning, noon, and night!
Don’t get me wrong, I do like to look stylish and put together, but if someone told me to wear a gorgeous outfit that was seriously uncomfortable, it’s a hard no from me. No matter how nice it looks, if it doesn’t feel good, I’m not wearing it. Comfort over style? Easy decision.
I’ve never been someone who can just “deal with” uncomfortable clothes for the sake of fashion. If something’s too tight, itchy, or just doesn’t sit right, I can’t relax, and if I’m not comfortable, I’m not confident either.
For me, what I wear needs to feel as good as it looks. Whether it’s a cosy tracksuit, a soft co-ord set, or something oversized and relaxed, I’ll always choose pieces that let me move, breathe, and actually enjoy my day.
But has comfort become the style? I do think things have changed. These days, comfort is the style. Being comfy is actually fashionable now, which works perfectly for me. So really, I’d say I’ve accidentally become a bit of a fashion queen… just in my own way Gone are the days where style meant squeezing into something uncomfortable just to look good. Now it’s all about relaxed fits, soft fabrics, and effortless outfits that still look put together.
So can you have both? Honestly, I think you can.
I do believe you can have both comfort and style it just depends on how you wear things and what you feel good in. For me, co-ords and cosy sets are the perfect balance. They’re comfortable, but they still look like you’ve made an effort.
And being a curvy girl, comfort has always come a bit more naturally to me than trying to be a full-on fashion icon, but I’ve learned that you don’t have to sacrifice one for the other.
At the end of the day, I’ll always choose comfort, but that doesn’t mean giving up on style completely. For me, the best outfits are the ones where you feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself, because when you feel good, you look good, and that’s what really matters.
Are you choosing comfort, style… or a bit of both?
