Let's Have Brunch With Gails
I can now confirm that Gails is my comfort food in London. Im addicted to their chai latte’s, a massive verity of their sweet treats and their excellent choices in savoury vegetarian dishes and I am now I’m hooked for life. I can tell you what sealed the deal for me.
Now usually when I’m in London, I’m out and would grab myself a chai latte, aka the holy grail, as Gail's bakery always makes the perfect chai latte. However, one of my days in London I decided to stay and get some blog bits done and thank god for Deliveroo. It was a cold day and I honestly just wanted to stay inside with my comfies, so I decided to experience my first Gails take out and Gails didn’t disappoint.
If you don’t know already, one of my fave brunch dishes is avocado on toast and the chilli flakes just gives it that bit of sizzle that I never knew I needed, so of course when I saw this dish on the menu it wasn’t a difficult decision. Gails avocado on toast was delicious and so filling and tasty. The presentation was great and portion size was very generous this was an easy rating of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you have read my first ever Gails bakery review you would know that I had the pleasure of tasting some of the most delicious and best tasting baked goods and cakes. So I decided to be a little naughty and treat my self to two of my favourite cakes, I went for the chocolate and tahini bite, this is so sweet but not sickly as well as having a soft, moist texture. It was just so yummy. I also went for one thing that I hadn’t tried yet called the honey cake and it was a delightful. It was small, soft, fluffy and sweet tasting concoction. This was so cute to look at, so for that I can easily say both cakes deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
On a rare occasion I do also enjoy a plain scone with jam and cream. And yes I’m gonna ask you the jackpot questions what do you put on first the jam on the cream ? Just writing this, I can imagine the debates you're all having right now. Anyway getting back on track ‘hehe’, I also got myself one of them and it was so good but very messy, but as I say the messiest foods are some of the best. The scone itself was lovely, great texture and went down a treat with the jam and cream, I can happily say that I have nothing negative to say about this traditional uk treat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Gails service has always and will be recognised by me and their take out service was just as good. With quick delivery, everything all well packed and happy with their affordable prices. Im pretty sure I actually get withdrawal symptoms when I’m not able to get to a Gails and I can honestly say Gails bakery has yet to disappoint. So if you have yet to experience their delicious brunch dishes, sweet treats and incredible chai lattes, don’t walk but run to your nearest Gail’s. Five stars all round!
