My Rainy Day Watch List

There’s something about a rainy day that makes staying in feel completely justified. When the skies are grey and the rain won’t let up, all I want is something familiar, comforting, and easy to watch. No heavy thinking, no intense plot twists; just cosy, feel-good viewing that matches the mood outside.

Here’s my go-to rainy day watch list.

Films

These are the films I always come back to when I want comfort and a bit of nostalgia:

1. Mary Poppins

2. Harry Potter (the full collection — obviously)

3. Little Women

4. The Princess Diaries 1 & 2

5. Mulan

6. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

7. National Treasure 1 & 2

They’re familiar, comforting, and perfect for having on while the rain taps against the windows.

TV Series

For longer rainy days (or multiple episodes in one sitting), these are my favourites:

1. Murder, She Wrote

5. Bridgerton (full collection)

6. Wednesday (Season 1 & 2)

7. Virgin River

These are the kind of shows you can fully watch, or half-watch with a blanket and a cup of tea and still enjoy every time.

Rainy days don’t need big plans. Sometimes, all you need is a good watch list and nowhere to be.
