Biscuiteers

On another London trip, I finally got to visit the biscuit shop of all biscuit shops @biscuiteersltd where they make the most delicious sugar biscuits I’ve ever tried!

From the moment I walked through the door, my eyes widened at just how beautiful everything looked. It’s not your typical biscuit like the ones you’d find at Tesco or Sainsbury’s. This was something else entirely. As I walked in, I was struck by how beautiful it all was colourful, creative, a concoction of different themed biscuits: from flowers to the classic Paddington Bear, and occasions like Mother’s Day, birthdays, and Easter. You name it, they had a biscuit for it!

After wandering around, I just couldn’t decide what to get or what flavours to try, but the display unit at the front of the till was a display of single wrapped biscuits to choose from, and there was such a variety: Vanilla, Chocolate, Gingerbread, and Lemon, each in all sorts of themes such as the typical London icons like soldiers, Big Ben and red buses, as well as lots of different floral designs and flower shapes. It was such a hard choice, but I decided to go for what stood out the most for me. And after finding out they offered four different flavours, I decided to get one of each because why not? I had to make sure I tried them all!

The biscuits were absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed the flavours and thought they were all beautifully designed. The flavour that stood out the most for me was probably the chocolate sunflower, which was very tasty, I usually enjoy the other flavours more but this time, the chocolate was definitely the winner.

What I liked about all four biscuits was their melt-in-your-mouth texture from the very first bite. The gingerbread was also a favourite, which is surprising since I’m not usually a huge gingerbread fan. However, this gingerbread biscuit was really nice and not too strong of a taste which is my preference as I feel sometimes gingerbread flavour can have a kick to it. Then there was vanilla, which of course is a classic choice. Some might say vanilla is  well just plain “vanilla,” but for me, it’s an old-school classic that you just can’t go wrong with. Finally, there was the lemon, which was interesting for me because I actually love lemon-flavoured things, but it didn’t quite hit the spot like the others. Nevertheless, it was still nice to eat, and it was really fun picking which designs I wanted.

I also signed up for their app, which gives me the opportunity to earn points £1 for every £10 you spend, you get present points added to your account. On top of that, the customer service was really, really lovely, and I had such a nice time chatting with them all.

Unfortunately I didn’t realise till I was leavingt that they also offer afternoon teas. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to explore that while I was there, but I hope to at some point. I’ve got a strong feeling that their afternoon tea is going to be just as great. If anyone has had an afternoon tea at Biscuiteers, please let me know what your thoughts are!

“Life is better with biscuits, and what goes best with biscuits? A good cup of tea, of course!”
