WildWoods Restaurant Review

I do enjoy discovering new restaurants and boi have I come across a new one called Wildwoods Italian restaurant. It’s a place I hadn’t heard of before, a new place to eat lunch that offer some interning dishes on the menu. For me, it was a pretty easy decision on where I was gonna be lunching today, plus … I LOVE ITALIAN FOOD !

I decide to go for the lunch menu deal, 2 courses for £11.95, because who doesn’t love a good deal on food right? My first course was a bit 50/50 for me. I had the Rosemary Garlic bread and the first few mouthfuls were ok but then as I continued eating I started to get this strong after taste that just didn’t quite sit with me. I did eat all of it but by the end I felt a little disappointed. It was also a little too crunch on some of the sides however, presentation was lovely but next time think I will try something different ⭐️⭐️

Next was the Main course. I went for the vegan lasagna; which was a dish made with tomato, spinach, layered pasta, coconut béchamel and vegan cheese sauce. This was absolutely delicious, I was over the moon with this dish. It was so tasty and the cheese was creamy and all the ingredients went effortlessly well together. The vegan lasagne left my taste buds dancing. I really liked the vegan cheese, it was soft and added a little sweet taste to the dish, it also had a bit of a kick to it which was unexpected but welcoming. This dish was cooked at a lovely temperature, the sweet and spicy balanced each other out nicely and was a great portion size. I would 100% recommend this dish to anyone eating at WildWoods restaurant! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I came at a very quiet time which was perfect for me as it was quite. A calming place to enjoy lunch and take a little rest from all my exploring. The staff were very polite and friendly, I also really liked the interior of the restaurant, with the sweet little details that was incorporated, such as the beautiful yellow roses and the wallpaper in the bathrooms, I also didn’t realised they have this very bougie downstairs area to dine in which I loved!
